“ It's a usual pitstop to grab snacks and other merchandise, nice employees, but the MILKSHAKES are to die for! Best shakes I've had in years!!! ”
“ They were not lying. Handsdown, the best milkshake I’ve tried (i don’t even like milkshakes). The consistency is perfect - thick but still able to go through a regular sized straw. What is this magic??? ”
“ While passing through, we saw the reviews on the milkshakes. And it’s true that they are delicious! The sandwich was also pretty good. The supermarket has almost everything you need for roadside supplies ”
“ Fine rest by the highway. Beautiful views.. Cozy cafe, simple snacks, with some basic groceries and souvenir shop. Friendly staff is pleasantly helpfull. But... their "Real-milkshakes and organic espresso" is simply a must. Very good! The gas-station is obviously pretty pricey. ”
“ What you see is what you get... Damn good shakes for the ride up/down 395! Any place that has a door that can stop a bear, a shotgun blast, a car - ha, probably a snowplow too! - get 5-stars just on principle! Fantastic Shakes - stop and get one! ”
“ Here's what you need to know: Great location, just off the highway, to stop for a pit-stop. Nice selection of snacks, drinks, basic groceries, and souvenirs. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. They even have a antique fire truck on display. Wish we could have spent more time here in the area, but we were just passing through. Next time, we'll definately get a milkshake! ”
“ You walk in and you have your doubts, because it looks like a gas station convenience store, but they have the professional Vitamix blenders and they set you up with one of the best milkshakes I have ever tried. Gigantic scoops of ice cream and just enough milk to make it blend. Perfect and delicious, a must stop if you are in the area . ”
“ Me, my brother in law, and his son got stuck here after finding out the YART bus was 12 hour in advance registration at this location. We explained our situation to the very nice young lady at the counter our situation, about trying to get back to our car in Tuolumne Meadows, and pick up a sick family member in Silver Lake. Not only did she help us out with our predicament, she call the owner of the gas station, who then came and drove us to Lee Vining in his car. We offered payment, but it was refused. I know I cannot make anyone do anything, but if you are driving through the area, please stop in and support these very kind people. It was a true blessing to see not only to meet kind folk, but ones that truly believe in community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! ”
